Interstate Stuffed Mushrooms

- 24 to 30 large mushrooms
- 1 package of Jimmy Dean sausage
- 4 stalks of green onion, chopped small
- 1/2 cup of Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
Preheat oven to 325°.
Cook the sausage and drain excess grease.
Remove the stems from the mushroom caps and chop the stems small. Clean out the mushroom caps with a spoon; be careful not to break them.
In a mixer, blend the sausage and the remaining ingredients. Fill mushroom caps with the sausage mixture.
Place the filled caps on a cookie sheet with a little garlic salt on top and bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
